Tropic Horizon was formed in January
1991 to develop exclusive individual and group eco-travel
packages to Belize, one of the Western Hemisphere's
most diverse and pristine travel destinations. Tropic
Horizon is owned and operated by Belizeans who specialize
in Belize.
The company's operations are two fold, consisting of
a Full Service Travel Agency located in Oakland, Northern
California and a land and sea guide service operation
located in Placencia, Southern Belize. Tropic Horizon
offers custom packages to Belize. Domestic and international
discounted airfares, Cruises and more! VISA, Mastercard
and Discover are accepted.
The travel operation is managed by Alvin Brown, Dive
Master and Certified Travel Consultant. Alvin spent
five years as a tour guide in Belize, then migrated
to the US where he established Tropic Horizon in 1991,
after completing a course at Echols International School
of Travel in San Francisco.

Sea Horse Guides - A member Belize Tourist
Industry Association (BTIA),the land and sea guide operation
in Placencia (Southern Belize) is owned and managed
by Brian Young, one of Belize's most respected and internationally
known dive instructors. He is featured in the October
1994 issue of Scuba Diving and two German magazines.
He was featured due to his expertise as a professional
diver and his knowledge of the spectacular dive sites
in virgin Southern Belize.
The guiding operation consists of a fully equipped
dive shop, located over the water in Placencia Village,
two 33 feet dive boats and a fully loaded 1 ton 15 seater
van for jungle safaris.Daily activities offered by Sea
Horse Guides includes Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Fishing,
Water Skiing, Boating, Island Picnicking, Manatee Watching,
River and Jungle Safaris as well as Scuba Diving Instruction
Courses.
