Mike and Pam arrived from England with two tents
and camped on the beach. Is this
the Caribbean Dream? This was their mid-life crisis
in a big way (part 1). They gave up their stable professions
of 20+ years. Mike with his architectural practice and
Pam with her teaching career to take on the vision of
Hotel Seine Bight which was to be a combination of Mikes'
unique architecture and Pam's love of cooking.
Hotel Seine Bight is a small hotel providing quality
service to ensure that our guests have a memorable
stay. It is a tropical retreat the perfect place to
enjoy the warm Caribbean breeze while sunning on the
beach or relaxing by the freshwater swimming pool. Home
comforts with tropical charm. Hotel Seine Bight is situated
35 minutes by air south of Belize City on the remote
Placencia Peninsula.
Facilities
Architecturally designed and executed,
Hotel Seine Bight is a lumber and thatch construction
with stucco interiors. Hotel Seine Bight is a lumber

design of each room is unique. Ancient Garifuna artifacts
are displayed on the walls. All rooms have ensuite facilities
and fans. All rooms have a sea view and are within feet
of the Caribbean sea. Two-storey suites have a sitting
room downstairs and a loft style bedroom upstairs. Rooms
have different combinations of beds to suit different
groups.
Dining. Dine on the terrace overlooking the
pool, or inside the restaurant. The restaurant has a
jungle style ambience serving gourmet European cuisine,
it has gained an excellent reputation. We intend to
stay small and be very customer service orientated.

Activities
Trips available to the cayes (Snorkelling,
diving) fishing, Mayan ruins, Jaguar reserve, unique
jungle tour. Visit the Mayan ruins of Nim Li Punit and
Lubaantun, Seine Bight village is a short walk away,
explore the lagoon by boat.
Adventure Tours & Excursions Offered:
| We offer an exclusive 7 night full board
package (particularly suited for romantic
couples). On their arrival in Belize a private
plane will whisk them across Savannah,
jungle and sea to Hotel Seine Bight. Complimentary
champagne, flowers, and luscious tropical fruit
will be in your room on arrival. All evening meals
will be romantic candle lit supper either enjoyed
on our terrace in the restaurant or in your room.
Choose our a'la carte menu every day and dine at
whatever time you choose. |

Trips included are:
A guided jungle tour. You will be
transported by boat through a maze of mangroves across
the lagoon to Monkey River village. Take lunch in a
local restaurant, a jungle walk and a river trip. Howler
monkeys will almost certainly be seen.
A snorkeling trip to a nearby isolated caye
to relax and snorkel. A special barbecue lunch
of freshly caught fish will be served before returning
to the hotel.
A boat trip through the Placencia Lagoon
for birds and manatee watching to the sound of chattering
toucans. Birdwaychers will delight in this trip.
On day 8 after breakfast you will
return by scheduled flight to Belize City.

and Pam transport you, in a jungle vehicle,
(an adventure in itself) along the Hummingbird
Highway - the most picturesque road in Belize,
to the foothills of the Maya mountains where
Tamandua nestles, surrounded by 4000 acres
of magnificent jungle and parkland. Enjoy
the serenade of the jungle chorus. Gentle
walks to strenuous hikes. Find the bubbling
spring in the hidden valley. At Tamandua
stay in a Mayan style cabana each situated
in a shady individual nook along the banks
of the creek.

- Each cabana has its own private rock lined
plunge pool - a unique bathing experience;
or take a shower under a banana tree looking
out at the jungle from the privacy of your

Adventurers… You will be met in Belize
City by a private plane that will fly south
along the coast where you will see wetlands,
Savannah and the Placencia peninsula. You will
spend 5 nights at Hotel Seine Bight in
one of our deluxe two-storey suites, with its
opulently draped beds. You will find champagne,
flowers and fresh fruits awaiting you. All
your meals are included where you will dine
by the pool by candlelight or in the jungle
style restaurant. One day a private boat will
take you to an island where you can snorkel
over unspoiled coral. Lunch will be freshly
caught fish barbecued and served by your own
private waiter. Chilled wine with all the trimmings.
Another day you will be transported by boat
across the lagoon where a vehicle will take
you to the Mayan ruins of Nim Li Punit and
Lubaantun. On day 6 you will travel by road
