Belize News: Newspapers, Radio, TV stations, and News Blogs
For a small country Belize punches above its weight in the news department and presence on the web. In the past news was tightly controlled and even today the government of Belize day uses subtle control in the form of selectively doling out official advertising funded by public tax money. Thanks to the Internet more news sources are now outside the Belize government control.
Our all-inclusive news navigation menu at left links to the most current and trusted sources of news in Belize. These include independent and politically affiliated media. Suggestion: News Blogs usually have breaking news including on weekends when most Radio and TV stations in Belize either do not have news broadcasts, or when they do, their websites are not updated.
