This underwater photo was taken by one of the authors of this site, at the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, a 10-minute boat ride from San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, and a favorite spot for both divers and snorkelers. Hol Chan is home to several green moray eels, as well as rays, nurse sharks (they're gentle!), barracuda, and tropical fish of all sizes, shapes and colors.
