Maya Mountain Lodge & Tours was created and has been run by the Mickler family for over 2 decades. It staff and management are famous for being both professionally and very friendly. Located in the foothills of the Maya Mountains and just outside of of San Ignacio, the lodge is an ideal base for jungle adventures.

The staff can arrange your complete eco travel vacations to Belize's rainforest, Maya ruins, and tropical reef. This includes lodging, guided tours, educational activities, and eco-tourism adventures. Maya Mountain also offers special vacation travel options for honeymooners, groups, teachers, and families.

Beautiful tropical gardens and nature trails adorn the Maya Mountain Lodge. The swimming pool is nestled within this tropical setting. The cottages have regional décor are individually appointed about the gardens, have tile floors and showers, private bath, and are air- conditioned. Each cottage has a lovely veranda with hammocks and hardwood reclining chairs. The Parrot’s Perch has six rooms and an apartment with kitchenette. A 30 x 30ft elevated veranda is great for birding or enjoying hammocks. The rooms have private bathrooms, tile floors, large windows looking out on the gardens and jungle, and lovely regional décor. The dining room provides seating for 40 guests in an open air but covered veranda surrounded by Mango Trees. Gourmet regional meals are served with full service.
