The resort was built by the Tut family, using the ancient art of palm-thatched roofs that blend with the natural beauty of Belize. Combine this exotic atmosphere with genuine Belizean family hospitality and the result is a rare encounter between culture and adventure. We provide our guests with the opportunity to explore the country's many wonders while staying in comfort that reflects Belizean culture. It is one of the few tourist destinations owned and operated by Belizeans. The location puts you in close proximity to enchanting things such as Mayan Ruins, caves, rivers, waterfalls, jungle, and the town's nightlife, just to list a few!

A great stay in Belize, Great birding too

If you want to get away from air conditioning, TV, radio, and the rest of the world as you know it, this is for you! We NEVER locked our room, and didn't need to. You become part of the Tut family when you stay here. The food was very agreeable, the drinks were always cold, and coffee was ready at 6 AM. The staff will help you in any way imaginable. We loved it.
