Our hotel is located right on a very pretty stretch of beach amongst quiet residences and other small inns and hotels. We have six rooms in the hotel, and another 3 units in private beach houses. Coconut fronds and hammocks sway in the breeze, and the Caribbean sea is at your doorstep. Neighbors stroll by and often stop in to our popular Bistro for a bite. You'll experience small-scale services with a full-service approach. Our staff are fantastic and could work in the largest resorts in Belize, but they too enjoy the one-to-one conversations with guests and impart their own personal touch. So whether you like to spend your time chatting with weather-beaten expats or learning about Belize's fascinating cultures, you can do it at the Maya Beach Hotel.

Our hotel rooms are are clean, simply furnished and all have air conditioning. While we don't have a swimming pool, we have a very nice beach and a large area of shallow water in the Caribbean Sea perfect for young kids or non-swimmers. The Joya del Mar beach unit is also air conditioned with a private balcony. The two Dreamsicle units are fan cooled with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the balmy climate, and the Dreamsicle house has a private swimming pool for guests. Our Bistro cooks fusion cuisine with influences from Europe, Asia and of course, Belize! We offer complimentary bicycles and kayaks for guest use, and very inexpensive rates for using the Internet.
