Compiled by our editors who scour local print and electronic media, then select and summarise the most compelling news stories for you. We strive to provide fair and balanced reporting and cut out Belize Tourism Board fluff.

It's a great way to keep an eye on critical developments in Belize.

2. Subscribe to the Belize Culture Discussion List

This is a Discussion List where folks with an interest in Belize discuss all things Belizean - from politics, to the economy, nightlife, tourism, investment opportunitities, government shenanigans, social issues and current trends.

It's almost like being in Belize with locals discussing events and conditions and an opportunity perhaps to strike up a friendship or business relationshiop. We are a mix of Belizeans and expats living in Belize or with an interest in this beautiful little country. And you can choose to receive messages as soon as they are posted, or use the digest version for an update about every two days.

Just fill in your email address and click on the Send Request Button. In a couple of hours (or a little more if he is down by the beach) our moderator will approve your subscription and you will be on.

If you wish to only receive a digest of the messages on the list serve, click on the Digest Version Box. You will receive a digest of the list after 30 messages or 48 hours have accumulated after the last digest.
